Who we are

MG GlobalMed Connect is a Zambian medical referral and patient coordination company. We connect patients in Zambia with hospitals abroad that can provide treatment which is difficult, delayed or unavailable to access locally — and we stay with them through the whole process.

We are not a hospital and we are not a clinic. We are the people who make the arrangement work: matching a patient’s case to the right hospital in our referral network, moving documents to the right department, booking the appointment, supporting the visa application, arranging travel and airport transfer, and following up after the patient comes home.

The company was incorporated in Zambia in August 2025 and works under formally signed agreements with the international hospitals in its referral network. We are based in Lusaka.

Why we exist

Families facing a serious diagnosis in Zambia often find that the treatment they need means travelling abroad — and then discover that arranging it is a second problem on top of the first. Which hospital. Who to email. What documents. How to get a visa. Where to stay. What happens if something goes wrong 6,000 kilometres from home.

That process is usually navigated alone, under time pressure, by people who are already frightened. Cases stall for weeks over a missing translated document or an email sent to the wrong department.

MG GlobalMed Connect exists so that no family has to work this out by themselves. We hold the relationship with the hospital, we know what each one requires, and we give the family one number to call.
